Lyle J. Black, age 58 of Cardington died at home. He was born on March 13, 1958 to the late Kenneth Black and to Elma (Hatten) Black who survives in Mount Gilead. Lyle was a 1976 graduate of Highland High School and a graduate of Malone College. He was a longtime employee of Snyder’s Milling Service and then drove for Schneider Trucking. Truck driving was Lyle’s livelihood and he owned and operated his own business. He attended the Gilead Friends Church. Lyle will be remembered as a loving and giving individual. In addition to his mother, Lyle is survived by a sister, Maude (Joseph) Metzger of Marengo.
