LYLE DELBERT MCISAAC
Lyle Delbert Willson McIsaac, age 82, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at his home in Lower Lost Prairie, Montana. He was born in Sumner, Oregon on July 8, 1924 the son of Delbert and Golda Mae (Davis) Willson.
Lyle was raised from the age of three by his mother and step father, Golda and Edward McIsaac. He graduated from Modesto High School in 1942. He served in the Navy during WWII. Lyle married his first wife, Vivian McIsaac in the late 40’s and to this union came four sons, Edward, Charles, David and Richard McIsaac. He attended San Jose State College, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in 1950 and then received his Master of Science degree from Iowa State College in 1952.
Lyle married his current wife, Carolyn “K” Jean Schuetz in October of 1972 in Idaho Falls, Idaho having a daughter, Stephanie. He pursued his career as a Radiation Chemist for 25 years with the Idaho National Engineering Laboratories in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Lyle also spent two years with King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyad, Saudi Arabia from 1981-1983. He retired in 1984 to Lost Prairie, Montana.
His hobbies included skydiving, snow skiing (going out about three times last year). He was a voracious reader, an avid fly fisherman and loved being a skydiving pilot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Charles. He is survived by his wife Carolyn McIsaac of Lost Prairie, Montana; three sons, Edward, David and Richard McIsaac of Idaho; and one daughter, Stephanie McIsaac and her Fiancée Jason Pollock of Colorado; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a brother Dewey McIsaac of Washington; two nieces, Vicki and Pat; and a nephew, Robert and their extended families, and not to mention his many wonderful friends.
