Lyla Jean (Paschal) Lemon, 76, of Anderson, passed away on July 27, 2019.
She was born on October 3, 1942, in Anderson, the daughter of Herman and Violet Imel. Jean graduated from Highland High School. She worked for Liebhardt Mills, and retired after twenty-five years of service. Jean was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Barbara Turner and Misty Buck; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, James Imel, Melvin (Lois) Imel, Larry (Alice) Imel, and Dick (Betty) Imel; in-laws, Sarah Paschal, Karen (James) Liebhardt, Cindy (Jay) Pelfrey, Marcia (Jack) Stanley, and Mike (Kaleaia) Paschal; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Paschal; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Babby Lemon; granddaughters, Miranda Lemon and Alana Wiesenauer; brother, Robert Imel; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and Marvin Whitaker; father-in-law, Joseph L. Paschal; and her parents.
