Lydia M. Lance age 102 of Ashland, passed away Monday September 13, 2010 at the Crystal Care Nursing Center.
Born on January 30, 1908 in Wayne County Ohio the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Aukerman) Kollert she was an Ashland resident for over fifty years.
Mrs. Lance was a homemaker and also been employed at the A.L. Garber Company, Ashland Rubber Company and Simmons Manufacturing.
Mrs. Lance is survived by two sons, Gene Lance of Ashland and Melvin Lance of Winston-Salem North Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One brother, Carl Kollert of Richfield Ohio also survives.
Mrs. Lance is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Lance in 1967, two sisters, Marie Easterday and Marjorie Shaffer; and three brothers, George Kollert, Ross Kollert and Lewis Kollert.
Mrs. Lance was a member of the Grace Brethren Church and the Eastern Star.
