Danielson, Connecticut – Lydia Emily Woznicki 70. Died Friday evening at the Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in East Hartford, CT. She was born in Norwich, CT on February 28, 1943, daughter of the late Bradley Irving Fowler and Emily (Miller) Fowler.
Lydia was married for 39 years to Walter E. Woznicki Sr. before his death on May 24, 1998. She was also predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Lee Woznicki in 1994. Mrs. Woznicki is survived by her two sons Walter E. Woznicki Jr., of Chaplin, CT and William A. Woznicki and wife Marisa P. Woznicki of Glastonbury, CT, a granddaughter Crystal Johnson of Jewett City, who was more like a daughter to her, a good friend and companion George Skipper, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also has three brothers, Irving Fowler, of Preston, CT, William Fowler, of South Carolina, Dale Fowler of Plainfield, CT and a sister Betty Bolton of Plymouth, ME. She had two brothers who were predeceased, Edward Fowler, and Nate Fowler.
Lydia Woznicki in years passed was an active member of The Native American Mohegan’s in which she dedicated many years of her life pursuing genealogical research on behalf of the tribe.
