Luz Nereida Rodriguez, 71, of Bethlehem, died Sun, December 25, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Modesto Hernandez.
Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Enriqueta (Ramos) Rodriguez.
She worked as a cook for various restaurants in the area.
She was a member of the Holy Infancy Catholic Church.
Survivors: Olga Almodovar (Wilberto), Melva Fernandez ( Jorge ), Brenda Hernandez (Edwin Lugo), Sandra Hernandez, Modesto Hernandez, Celines Hernandez all of Bethlehem, Wanda Ramos (Otero), 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters, Elba, Juan, Dorca, Sylvia, Edwin, Carlos, Nitza. She was predeceased by brother, Carlos Jr.
Mass at 10:00 am Thursday at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
