Luther “Gene” White, 88, of Greenwood, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of September 22, 2017 at his residence following a short illness. He was born on August 23, 1929 in Deer Lodge, Tennessee to the late Luther B. and Ruah Mae White. On November 4, 1950 he married the love of his life Nancy Mills at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma.
