Luther Aubrey Phillips, 87, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away on May 23, 2022.  Luther was born on August 12, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Lawrence and Lucille Kesler Phillips.  Luther is predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Wendy Tinsley.

Luther was an Arkansas native and had lived in other parts of the country, but he eventually ended back in his home state which he loved.  Arkansas is where Luther met his wife Robbie of 64 years.  They met at Arkansas Tech, where both were music majors.  Luther played the trumpet, and Robbie played the piano.  They enjoyed many years of playing music together.

Luther was also a United States Veteran and was enlisted in the Air Force.  He served in the Korean war.

Luther spent most of his working life at Kodak.  He was living in Greeley, Colorado, where he was a supervisor and service repair technician for the Kodak company which just happened to be his biggest passion and hobby.  He absolutely loved photography.  Luther enjoyed playing his trumpet, ham radio and jazz and big band music.  He loved being a grandpa to his 5 grandkids, and he loved his fur babies, Precious and Stretch and the kitties.

Luther is survived by his wife Robbie, his daughter Penny-Phillips-Deines (James), his 5 grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Jacob, and Madilyn Deines, and granddaughter Lauren Perez.
