Lura Louise Silsbee, 91, of 2912 McKinney Street, passed into eternal life to be with Christ on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Louise was the wife of Edward D. Silsbee, who died July 12, 2004.
Louise was a member of the Trinity Gospel Church where she taught bible school for many years. She was a 1937 graduate of Williamsport High School and being with family, friends and children brought her the greatest joy.
Born Feb. 19, 1919 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Clark W. and Blanche E. Robinson Kimble.
Surviving are sons, Dr. Lynald (Danielle) of Wescosville and Lee of Williamsport; daughters, Lura (Frank) Lucier of East Earl, Loanne (Rev. Gary) Hughes of Ridgeway, VA and Leta (Harold) Grimes of Williamsport; a son-in-law, Kenneth Bennett of Birdsboro; 11 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Louise was predeceased by a brother, Lynald Kimble, a sister Beth Dieffenbach and a daughter, Linda Bennett.
