Lura Edna Wolfe Solomon, age 79, of Mooresburg went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 11, 2017, at her son’s home in Morristown. She was saved at the age of 13, was a member of Old Spruce Pine Missionary Baptist Church, and attended Hubert’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Lura loved old gospel music, gardening, canning, quilting, and taking care of her family –and her family will always miss her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Reverend Sam Woods; parents, John S. and Pearl Woods Wolfe; sister, Thelma Lumpkins; brother, Tony Wolfe; and grandson, Billy Jo Solomon.
She is survived by her children, Tim Solomon; Kimberly (Johnathan) Furniss; Dale (Marie) Solomon; grandchildren, Kelsey Solomon; Kameron (Shantelle) Solomon; Tristan Solomon; and great-granddaughter, Abbagail Rose-Lura Solomon.
