Lulu P. Miner, 70, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Saturday morning, December 3, 2005, peacefully in her sleep. Lou, as she was known to those who loved her, was born to Inez (Shireman) and Frederick Averill in Fort Dodge, Iowa on August 22, 1935. She had lived in Lydick for the past 38 years.
Lulu is survived by her seven children, Teddy (Dave) Koloszar of South Bend, Tina Miner of South Bend, Jacki (Tony) Houin of Argos, Indiana, Suzanne (David) Huys of Cassopolis, Michigan, Dwight (Buddy) Miner III of South Bend, Lisa (Mike) Holloman of South Bend, Ricky (Kathy) Miner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, Tricia Martinez, Tiana Mibb, David Huys, Jr, Keith Stewart, Eric Landall, Channing & Shane Miner, Courtney, Justin, Lindsay & Bryce Holloman, Kaitlyn & Cody Miner; and eight great grandchildren, Blake & Alyssa Mibb, James, Johnathan & Jessica Stewart, Trevor White, Gabriella & Jacob Martinez.
We will miss you. You have always been the comical highlight of our lives. We love you Mom/Granny. Say hello to Elvis for us.
