Lula Smith Moore, 89, of Louisburg, formerly of Kittrell, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Carebridge Assisted Living. Mrs. Moore was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Mary Frances Johnson Smith and Yuta Ouris Smith. She was a retired guard with the NC Department of Correction and was married to Kemp Moore who preceded her in death.
