Luis A. Rivera Sr., 56, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving wife Valerie and son Luis Rivera Jr. He was the loving husband of Valerie Rivera with whom he shared over 35 years of loving marriage and together for 40 years. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the Gloria (Carrion) Santiago and the late Angel Luis Rivera. Luis was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He worked for Lehigh Valley Hospital for over 20 years as a security guard. Luis was a faithful member of Central Assembly of God, Bethlehem. Family was everything to Luis and he loved spending time with them all. The love of my life, my best friend, soulmate, wonderful father to our children & papa to our grandkids, this world and our lives will never be the same without you but rejoice in being in the Lord’s presence and being pain free- Glory to God!
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Valerie and his mother Gloria and Esther and John Mangual, he will be remembered by his son Luis Rivera, Jr.; daughter Jazzie Rivera; siblings Jose Rivera, Edwin Santiago, Jarvey Santiago, Rosa Rivera, Alex Rivera and Angie Rivera and his loving grandchildren Giovanni Melendez, Serenity Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez, Alexi Rodriguez and Bentley Rodriguez.
