Luigi Vittorio, 84 of 75 Ruthie’s Lane, died Monday, March 01, 2010 peacefully at his home with his family at his bed side.
Luigi’s wife, the former Ruth E. Wagner, died April 11, 1999.
Luigi served in the Marine’s during World War II serving in the Pacific Theater earning the Purple Heart. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed the outdoors, camping and supporting St. Joseph’s Indian School in Arizona.
Luigi owner and operated Vittorio’s Garage next to his home for over 40 years.
Born July 27, 1925 in Williamsport, he was the son of Frank and Leadith L. Bailey Vittorio.
Surviving are brothers, Armando of Jersey Shore and William of Erie and many nieces and nephews.
Luigi was predeceased by brothers, Carlo, John, Vito, Vittorino and sisters, Angelena Wood and Maryanna Lyons.
