Ludena Eskra, 87, of O’Fallon, Ill., born July 19, 1919 in Pittsburg, Ill., died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Cedar Ridge Health Care Center, Lebanon, Ill.
Mrs. Eskra was a member of O’Fallon United Church of Christ, O’Fallon and Shiloh Senior Citizens, Homemakers of Illinois and Eastern Star 487, having served as Past Matron. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry & Rabia, nee Anderson, Reames, husband, Emil Eskra, an infant sister, a brother Eugene Reames and a sister-in-law Pearl Reames.
Ludena is survived by 2 sons, Victor & Vicki Eskra of O’Fallon, Ill., Douglas & Darlene Eskra of Smithton, Ill., 4 grandchildren, Kellie & Carl Hawkins of Capo Beach, CA., Scott & Patricia Eskra of Alton, Ill., Tod & Amy Eskra of Denver, CO., Ean & Anna Eskra of Chicago, Ill., 2 great grandchildren, Erin Arnold of Swansea, Ill., Devin Eskra of Smithton, Ill., a sister Loretta & Gene Middleton of Florida, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
