Griswold – Lucy Thelma Theroux, 78, of Sheldon Road passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a brief illness, at the Greentree Manor in Waterford on Wednesday, June 19th.
Lucy was born December 13, 1934 in Norwich, CT daughter to the late William and Amelia (Babbitt) Boenig. Lucy was married to Joseph A. Theroux on June 20, 1953, and they have been very happily married for 60 years.
Lucy considered being a parent her finest accomplishment and is survived by her two children, Joseph R. Theroux and his wife Pamela of Voluntown, and Lucinda Jette and her husband Ernest of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by her brother Herbert Boenig and his wife Landa of Euclid, Ohio, and her two grandchildren Nicholas and Christina Theroux. She will be dearly missed by all.
