Lucy Esposito Grava Berger, 85, formerly of 30 Rose St., Branford and 46 Oliver Rd., New Haven, passed away Dec. 27, 2007 in Branford Hills Health Care. She was the wife of Richard F. Berger. Mrs. Berger was born in New Haven June 7, 1922, daughter of the late Anthony R. and Chiarina “Katie” Capobianco Esposito. She worked as a social worker for the State of CT for 10 years prior to retirement in 1972. Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, William A, Grava Jr. of Derry, N.H. and Paul M. Grava of West Haven; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Grava Present of Seattle, WA.; a sister, Rose Marie Riccitelli of East Haven; 6 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, William A. Grava and her brother, Salvatore J. Esposito.
