Lucy Doris Moore, 100, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 10, 2021. She was born in Alvorton, Ohio on January 24, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles and Ocie (Brown) Hauter. Lucy worked at JC Penney and Goodyear in Fort Wayne, but took the greatest pride in being a homemaker.
She loved baking pies and spending time with her family. Survivors include her children: Sharon Cripe, Upland; Barbara (Dick) Haggard, Eaton; and Janie (Bill) Norton, Upland; six grandchildren: Tim Jones, Jr., Ninevah; Teri (Corey) Jones, Upland; Amy (Thad) Haney, Winchester; Jenny (Matthew) Norton-Schamber, Upland; Jim (Carrie) Norton, Gas City; and Mike White, Warren; eight great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
