Mrs. Lucy Carmen Kemp, age 91, of Stonewood passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at UHC in Bridgeport with her family by her side.

She was born on February 19, 1923 in Albuquerque, New Mexico a daughter of the late Manuel and Angelica Gonzalez Torres. She was married to the love of her life, Guy Kemp, Sr. who preceded her in death in August of 1966. Lucy earned her Bachelors degree in Business from Fairmont state, went on to work and manage RG Honda Motorcycle Shop, worked as a seamstress, owned and operated K & K Motorcycle in Stonewood. She loved painting, sewing, cooking, and most of all taking care of her family. Lucy was a member and attended church at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Stonewood. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her son, Guy Kemp, Jr., 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

She is survived by her grandson, Guy Kemp, III, and wife Karaline, of Stonewood, granddaughter, Erikka and husband Jon Wilson, of Stonewood, great-granddaughter, Juliet Kemp; sisters, Linda, Dora, and Rosie; special family member, Linda Stemler; and dog, Link. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and is greatly missed.
