HAVERHILL – Lucy B. (Scamporino) Fiorentini, 93, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, October 17, 2016, with her family by her side.
She was born in Haverhill on April 16, 1923, daughter of the late Guido and Elizabeth (DeCristofaro) Scamporino. Lucy attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Dean Academy in Franklin and Bryant and Stratton College in Boston.
She was the devoted wife of the late John A. Fiorentini, who passed in 2007. They shared over 60 years of marriage together.
Lucy worked for several years for the IRS in Boston until she and John began their family. Raising her children was her proudest accomplishment. She enjoyed staying at home tending to her house and family while her husband served as an educator in the Haverhill schools.
