METHUEN – Lucy Ann Jarek, 59, passed away peacefully at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House on Saturday, December 31, surrounded by her loving family.
Lucy was born on November 11, 1957 to Roger and Theresa Poisson. Born and raised in Methuen, Lucy was part of the last graduating class of the Tenney High School. She was a dedicated employee of North Reading Transportation for nearly 20 years, as well as the sole owner of TJ’s Landscaping and Plowing Company. Lucy found great satisfaction in her work as a bus driver for the City of Lawrence and enjoyed the innumerous time she spent with the children, especially those coming from troubled backgrounds.
Lucy was also a devoted wife, mother and “memere”.
