ROY – Lucious Griffith passed away on December 19, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born to Luther Griffith and Rachael (McNair) Griffith Crosby Buchanan on November 12, 1936 in Covington, Mississippi – the oldest of 6 children: Clyde Griffith, Shirley (Griffith) Montgomery, Gerald Crosby, David Crosby and Andrew Ezelle Crosby.
Lucious loved to fish, bar-b-que, travel and restore old cars. He served 21 years in the United States Air Force, and continued working as an aircraft mechanic at Hill Air Force Base until January 29, 2010.
On November 12, 1977, he married Johnnie Mae Woolfolk, and they had 2 children; Louis John (Erica) and Rachel Manette (Michael). From a previous marriage, he had 5 children; Denise, Phyllis, Keith, Kenneth and Brian. He has a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
