Lucille Ruth Konstant, 92 of Freeport died October 30, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Home.
Born October 13, 1915 in Whiteside County she was the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Book) Overcash. She was a graduate of Pecatonica High School in 1933. She and John Geiken were married December 11, 1937 in Davenport, he preceded her in death in 1951. In July of 1957 she married Petrus Konstant in Fairhaven he preceded her in death in 1997.Lucille was a service clerk for 20 years at Montgomery Ward in Freeport until her retirement in December on 1976. A member of Zion Church she was active with the Ladies Aid and Naomi group.
She is survived by one son John Geiken of Freeport; two daughters Carolyn (Harvey) Ostergard of Davis, Bonnie (David) Stephens of Freeport; one step son John (Sharon) Konstant; one step daughter Carol (Nelson) Robieson, both of Freeport; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; one sister Vera Robins of Grant MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one step daughter Wanita Imel.
