When she was 19 years old, while helping at a food booth at a county fair, Lucille met her future husband of 43 years, Albert Orvis. It was love at first sight! They were married August 6th, 1938 in Jamestown, North Dakota and moved to Idaho the following day.
Lucille worked as a cook at Washington Elementary and summer camps for several years. Lucille was a lover of people and volunteered thousands of hours with the VA and the Boise Senior Center. She enjoyed square dancing, bingo, pinochle, outdoor activities, her grandchildren and ICE CREAM!
Her only living sibling is Oliver. She will be missed by her three children, Robert, Virginia, Barbara and their families.
