Lucille Moss of Payette, Idaho, passed away October 24, 2018. Lucille was born to Edward and Lizzie Newman in Melvin, Kentucky, on December 16, 1934. Lucille joined the U.S. Air Force in the early 1950s and was stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There she met the love of her life, Roger Moss. They were married February 25th, 1955, after a three-month courtship. The couple moved to Payette, Idaho, shortly thereafter. Lucille’s strong, quiet presence alongside Roger’s playful and lively nature combined to create a household and legacy of love and faith.
Lucille is survived by son Steve (Cindy) Moss, daughter Teresa (Richard) Waller, daughter Keena (Doug) Sheldon, sister Abigail Frasher, sister Pauline Vilak, sister Nancy Louise Cranford, sister Maxine Burcham, brother Edward Newman, brother Teddy Newman, granddaughter Britta and great grandchildren James, Brianna, Kate and Michael, grandson Robb (Stephanie) and great grandchildren Chase and Simon, grandson Chris (Crystal) and great grandson Lincoln, granddaughter Nikki (Richard) and great grandchildren Angelyn, Kaylee, and Carter, grandson Joe (Cathy) and great grandson Elijah, grandson Jeff (Kayla), grandson John (Destiny) and great grandchildren Izaiah, Zara, and Ezekiel, and granddaughter Natalie (Archie) and great grandchildren Adrienne, Asher, and August. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, and her parents.
