Muncie-Lucille Marie Talley, 94, passed away Wednesday evening, October 24, 2012, following an extended illness at the Parkview Health Care Center. She was born, August 31, 1918, in Randolph County, Indiana, the daughter of James and Nellie (Cougill) Pegg.
Lucille is a 1936 graduate of Stoney Creek High School and later married the love of her life, Charles Alfred Talley in May 21, 1939 and he preceded her in death August 25, 1988. Mrs. Talley had been a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda VanDevanter (husband-Alan), Springboro, Ohio; two sons, Larry Talley, Cordova, Tennessee and Steven Talley, Muncie; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Besides her husband of 49 years Charles, she is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Irene ,Mary, and Ruby; four brothers, Emmett, Harvey, Jay and Basil Pegg.
