Lucille (Lucy) Busko was born on August 20, 1921, on the family farm near Dwight in Butler County, Nebraska to Frank and Anna (Hraban) Pospichal. She was a 1940 graduate of Ulysses High School. After graduation, Lucy worked in Lincoln and Omaha. Lucy and Roy Busko were married on May 10, 1952 in Lincoln. Roy’s employment with Boeing Aviation resulted in them living in many parts of the United States. In 1970, Roy retired from Boeing and they moved to Seward. Lucy passed away in Seward, Nebraska, on August 7, 2013 at the age of 91 years, 11 months, and 13 days. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; brother and wife, Joe and Joanne Pospichal; sisters and their husbands, Eleanor and Murph Jelinek, Ann and Milford Ebel, Lil and Larry Bowers, Marge and John Ringquist. She is survived by: nieces and nephews and their families: Sue (Pospichal) Huebner, DeRoyce Jelinek, Gary Jelinek, Buzz Jelinek, Dan Jelinek, Mick Ebel, Dwayne Ebel, Kenny Bowers, Wayne Bowers, Wes Bowers, Doug Bowers, Cindy Bowers, Renee (Ringquist) Dugan, Prudy (Ringquist) Mallams, Jan (Ringquist) Green, Julie (Ringquist) Dunlap, Jane (Ringquist) Walls, Joan (Ringquist) Brown.
