Lucile D. Hipes, 95, of Ottawa, died early Thursday morning, December 3, at the Ottawa Pavilion.
Lucile was born March 14, 1914 in Kankakee to B. Clare and Mildred (Cole) Harvey. She married Andrew J. Hipes on September 8, 1947 in Bloomington. He died in 1988. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Caise; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Kathryn Carr, three brothers, Richard, Kenneth and Wayne Harvey and one sister, Kathryn Edwards.
