Lou Pelletier, age 75 of Milton, Florida passed peacefully the morning of December 23, 2021 with his loving family by his side after fighting a lengthy battle of cancer. Lou was born on his family farm in Caswell, Maine on November 8, 1946 to Guy and Rose Pelletier.

He attended Limestone High School in Limestone, Maine. Lou moved to Connecticut in 1965 and worked for Pratt and Whitney aircraft for three years. He then moved back to his hometown of Caswell, Maine in 1969 where he started working for Gervais Farms. Lou met the love of his life, Rachel Roy, in 1969 and they married on July 29, 1972. They were married forty nine years and together had a son, Corey. In 1995, the family moved to Pensacola, Florida and Lou started his career in the construction industry with Anderson Columbia Co, Inc. Lou worked there for twenty seven years until his health declined and he could no longer work. In 2006, they adopted their second son at birth, Cameron. Lou had a huge love for his two granddaughters, Marisa and Delaney. He had a big heart for children in general which led to fostering thirty one children over and eight year period.

Lou is survived by his wife, Rachel Pelletier; sons, Corey Pelletier and wife, Tina of Alachua, FL;  Cameron Pelletier; brother, Roderick Pelletier and wife, Pam of Arkansas; and sister, Judy Munette of Connecticut. Along with his immediate family he had numerous brothers and sisters in-laws and nieces and nephews of the Roy family that loved him dearly. Lou will always be remembered for being a hard worker and his infectious smile and sense of humor will always be missed by many. We would like to thank Woodlands of Pensacola, MD Anderson Cancer Center of Houston, Texas, and Regency Hospice of Pensacola for the amazing care and love they all provided.
