PLAINVILLE; Mr. Lucian Louis Kraft, Sr. 86 of Plainville, passed away Monday July 9, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of the late Gertrude (Silvernail) Kraft.
Mr. Kraft was born on March 10, 1926 in Newington a son of the late Paul and Jadwiga (Waltos) Kraft and has been a Plainville resident for the past 59 years.
He leaves his children, Lucian L. Kraft, Jr and his wife Marsha of Plainville, David Kraft and his wife Sharon of Plantsville, Alice Gawel and her husband Frank of Plainville and Michael Kraft of Southington, his sister Ann (Kraft) Kaiko and her husband John of Newington, his grandchildren, Gary Kraft of Plainville, Jennifer Kraft and Phil Johnson of New Britain, Jason Kraft and Kelly Foster of Plainville, Heather and Graham Eyres of Plainville, Daniel Kraft of Plainville and Brian Kraft of Southington, Hope Gawel and Jeff Hatch of Plainville whom he resided with, Ryan and Loreen Gawel of Bristol and Heidi Kraft of Willimantic, his great grandchildren, Tyshawn and DeMari, Breanna, Joshua, Christian and Gentri, Graham, III, Dillon and Rebecca, Nathan, Kyle and Alyssa, Jasmine, Nicholas,and Trevor, Lucas and Landon, Kaylene, Anthony, and Tyler several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Josephine (Kraft) Bassen and Frank, John and Edward Kraft.
