Lucas ”Luke” Wayne Zimmer, 36, Pendleton, died suddenly, November 29, 2006 at his residence. He was born March 5, 1970 in La Mesa, CA, and lived most of his life in this area.
Lucas worked as a forklift operator at Tractor Supply Distribution Center. He previously worked at Watson’s in Lawrence, Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis and Harvest Market in Middletown.
He was a 1989 graduate of Daleville High School. He loved all sports and was an avid pool player and played in several pool leagues. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and NASCAR, especially, Jeff Gordon.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne R. & Catherine Pederson Zimmer of Markleville; brothers, Steven & wife Norma Zimmer of Greenfield, and Marcus & wife, Vickie Zimmer of Lafayette; sisters, Casendra & husband, Lanny Kennedy of Anderson, and Dianne & husband, John Eigenbrod of Lincoln, IL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Heather, Patience & Justice Pedigo; and companion, Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter & Florence Zimmer and Henry & Thelma Pederson.
