Luba K. Huggins, age 92, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was born on April 7, 1919. Proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years Jack, daughter Sandra Huggins Ezell, brother Al Krukowski and parents Mike and Polly Krukowski. Survived by son Jack Huggins of Boerne, Granddaughter Angela Mueller and husband Ed of Boerne. Great grand children Melissa Garza and husband Steve of San Antonio, Stacey Mueller of Asotin, Washington, Nathan Mueller of San Antonio, great great grand children Haliey, Joey, Jacob and Jace. Born in Montreal, Canada she grew up in Detroit, Michigan. During WWII she met and married the love of her life Jack Huggins. Following the end of the war they built a home together in Fort Worth, Texas. After retirement they moved to the Hill Country and settled in Boerne in 1984. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Boerne. She served as a volunteer on many committees over the years. She was a member of the United Methodist Women Friendship Circle and a Stephen Minister.
