In emulation of his namesake (Lowell Jackson Thomas- American writer, broadcaster, and traveler), Lowell was a prodigious people person who was able to relate and connect with all walks of life. Lowell was a Regional Sales Representative for Hines Lumber where he met his wife of 56 years, Martha Lapczynski. Lowell and Martha married on February 16, 1957, and resided in the Chicago area until their retirement to Scottsdale and later Fountain Hills. During their 56 years of marriage, the Andersons traveled the world many times over, enjoying the natural wonders and history of land and sea.
