Lowell T. Murphy, 76, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 24, 1937, the son of Eddie and Iona (Reed) Murphy. Lowell retired in 1999 from the Ford Motor Co. He was married to Emma Corn on November 3, 1956 and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Audrey Gearhart, Greensburg, Linda (Don) Wisker, St. Paul, Kala (Douglas) Budd, Greensburg; two brothers, James Murphy, Michigan, Curtis Murphy, Greensburg; two sisters, Christine Mathis, Greensburg, Faye Eldridge, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Joseph Gearhart, Jeremy Wisker, Jodi Griffin, John Sansing, Jade Sansing; three great grandchildren, Mikalyn Gearhart, Gage Gearhart, Blade Wisker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marvin E. Murphy, William R. Murphy; one sister, Nancy Morrow.
