On Tuesday April 25, Lowell Ray Ash passed away peace-fully. Lowell had suffered a stroke March of 2007. Al-though the Stroke left his left side paralyzed, Lowell lived courageously for 10 years. The challenges never broke his strong spirit, belief in God nor his love for family and friends.

Lowell is survived by his wife Shirley, his boys Robert and David; and grandson Logan.

Lowell referred to himself as an “ordinary man” yet the life he lived was anything but ordinary. In his autobiography, “The Shadow of a Mountain”, he wrote of his experiences during the Dust Bowl, Great Depression, and years as Navy Corp-man. His memoirs included his wonderful adventures with Shirley, the boys and his many loved ones.

Comforted by God and his grace, Lowell succumbed to complications leaving this world to join his maker. He will be greatly missed but al-ways remembered for his kind-ness and caring nature.
