Lowell G Fehr, 75, of Rolfe IA died Oct 15, 2018 at his home. He was the son of Eli and Nima (Schneider) Fehr. Lowell was educated in Ottosen and West Bend, graduating from “West Bend High School” in 1960. On June 23, 2001 he married Gladys Van Buren. The couple lived in South Dakota, where he was a welder, and returned to Rolfe in 2005 where he drove for Winnebago. He was a loving husband and passionate about being a grandpa and great grandpa. As an avid gardener, he canned much of what he grew; his tomatoes were a cherished favorite of his children. He enjoyed delivering motor homes all over the US and Canada, but especially wherever he could visit his family; and to Alaska.
As an accomplished electrician and plumber, Lowell generously shared his knowledge and skills working on his children’s homes. Survivors include his wife Gladys of Rolfe; children Lynette (Jim) Lyons of Mission Hill, SD, Lisa (Richard) Wilkinson, Lachelle (Matthew) Nguyen of New York City NY, Judd (Claudine) of Hagerstown, MD, Lorelei (Todd) Piantedosi of Oakland, CA, Jeremy (Amy) of Des Moines, Joshua (Marie) of Caddo Mills, TX, and Jonathan (Jasmine) of Richardson, TX; grandchildren Aric, Arielle, Matthew, Alexus, Patrick, Luke, Gabriel, Nevaeh; and great granddaughters Riley and Marley; siblings: Larry (Carole) Fehr, Marvin (Charlotte) Fehr, Melvin (Glenna) Fehr, Dennis (Judy) Fehr, all of West Bend, IA, and Kathy (Leland) Metzger of Whittemore, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Allen and infant daughter, Mary.
