Lowell Conley, age 75, of Fair Oaks passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at his home. Lowell was born in Sandy Hook, KY on June 17, 1934, the son of the late Elbert and Lona (Robbins) Conley.
He moved to Jasper County as a young boy and was a lifetime resident. Lowell was retired from U.S. Steel Gary Works where he had been employed for 30 years. He especially enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking and jewelry making and enjoyed watching game shows.
Lowell is survived by four sons, Roger Conley, Fairfield, CA, David (Gina) Conley, Wheatfield, Gary (Heidi) Conley, Lake Village, and Mark (Raelane) Conley, Rensselaer; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and five brothers, Jessie Dean (Genevieve) Conley and Willey “Bill” (Sue) Conley both of Rensselaer, Carson “Mac” (Lee) Conley, Cawston, B.C., Larry (Juanita) Conley, Kentland and Michael (Renee) Conley, Remington.
