Lova Jo Gay, 64, of Anderson, passed away on December 16, 2013 at Community Hospital, Anderson IN. She was born on July 18, 1949 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Lova graduated from Madison Heights High School. She retired in 2012 as a secretary from the Anderson Public Library after 19 years of service.
Lova is survived by her loving husband James Gay, children, Jacqueline Clevenger and Frederick Smith Jr., granddaughters, Kendra Frye and Melisha Frye, aunts, Rosemary Sears and Patty Paul Dyer, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Smith, first husband, Frederick Smith, mother, Ruth Smith Stottlemyer Bennett, father, Milburn Stottlemyer, step-brother, Howard Bennett, and step-father, Eldon Bennett.
