Louzetta Marie Rice, 85, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 8:45 AM, Thursday, February 16th, at Ridgewood Health Campus, Lawrenceburg, IN. Lou was born in Ohio County, IN on December 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Anna Bell (Cochran) and Earnest Walston. She was a graduate of Aurora High School. Lou operated Rice’s Pet Shop in Rising Sun and also had worked at the Whitlock Chair Factory and B & W Market in Rising Sun. On Dec. 11, 1943 she married Wesley C. “Buck” Rice who passed away on Jan. 15, 1990.
