Louvenia Harper “Vennie” Adams, 77, of Newnan, wife of Dorris Edward Adams died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 surrounded by family. Born in Baxley, GA, August 16, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Clyde Harper and Louise Martin Reddish. Mrs. Adams was a member of South Metro Ministries where she was retired after over thirty years serving as Financial Secretary. She enjoyed short term mission work and had been to Guatemala and Nicaragua serving in several Orphanages. Along with her parents Vennie is preceded in death by her step father in law, Preacher Roy W. Reddish and her three brothers, Mackie Lee Harper, Gladwin Lamar Harper and Colon David Harper. Surviving in addition to her husband of fifty-nine years are four daughters, Debbie Ann Rickett and husband Jimmy and Marilyn Stamps and husband Bill, all of Newnan, Marsha Spradlin and husband Ken of Hogansville and Pam Addis and husband Terry of Rome; a son, Larry Adams of Newnan; six grandchildren, Adam Smith, Adrieana Beaumont, Kristen Critcher, Erica Williford, Michelle Finley and Monte Powell; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Edward Harper and wife Betty of Griffin and Roy Reddish of Jesup.
