Louise “Toni” Whitley, 84, formally of Phoenix, passed away Wednesday March 18, 2009 at the Olivia White Hospice Home with her loving family by her side. Toni was born on September 18, 1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Charles & Mildred Koss.
She married Robert Knight Whitley on May 24, 1947 and moved to Phoenix, AZ where she raised her children and retired Mountain Bell after 34 years of dedicated service.
She touched many lives, was truly loved by family and friends, and will be greatly missed. She moved to Flagstaff six years ago to be closer to her family. Toni is survived by her sons Tom(Diann), Brian (Karen) and daughter Patty; six grandchildren Rob (Heather), Bailey, Stephany (Justin) Southwick, Nick, Kathryn, Shane, Mariah; four great grandchildren, Zack, Isaiah, Micah, Emese; sister- in law Betty Koss of Scottsdale; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Knight, granddaughter, Shannen Dawn Whitley, and three brothers and one sister.
