Louise Uebler, 78, of Three Oaks, Michigan died peacefully Tuesday evening, March 29, 2011 at her home.Louise was born November 22, 1932 in Michigan City, Indiana to Donald and Alice (Kalcik) Duddleson. While attending New Buffalo High School, Louise was a member of the Girls Basketball team. After graduation in 1950, she continued to enjoy getting together for lunch with her classmates, maintaining lifelong friendships. On April 25, 1953, she married Donald Uebler in New Buffalo.
Louise was employed by Carson Pirie Scott in Michigan City. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed birdwatching, baking, knitting and going to see a good movie. Louise was a volunteer at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City and was a member of the Three Oaks United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Don; children, Chris Uebler of Cape Coral, Florida; Linda (Robert) Flick of Three Oaks and Vicki (Bobby) Looney of New Buffalo, Michigan; grandchildren, Cara, Caly, Tyler, Jason, Jennifer, Samantha and Cody; great grandchildren, Morgan, Conner, Jeremy Jr, Emma, Kaitlyn, McKenzie, McKayla, Austin and Isabella; and her sister Shirley (Alvin) Schroeter of Three Oaks.
