Louise (Wilfong) Trimble, age 81, of Rt. 1, Flemington, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 27, 2012, at Rosewood Nursing Care Facility, Grafton, where she resided the last 3 ½ years. She was born in Rosemont, WV, March 26, 1930, a daughter of the late Bedford I. Wilfong and Mary M. Trusler. Her husband, Robert “Bob” Burton Trimble, preceded her in death April 4, 1999. They were united in marriage October 2, 1946.
Mrs. Trimble was a member of the Bailey Memorial United Methodist Church, Rosemont and she was an avid reader of the Bible. Her hobbies included working puzzles, playing dominos and Chinese checkers, quilting, cooking, and gardening. She was also a group leader of the Al-Anon organization in Philippi. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clarksburg Chapter #11.
Surviving are three sons: Paul Trimble and wife Linda, of Siler City, NC; Robert “Bobby” Trimble and companion Connie, of Shawboro, NC; Buddy Trimble and wife Kathy, of Philippi; four daughters: Robin White, and husband Dennis, of Ankeny, IA; Sue Moore and husband Paul, of Flemington; Lorinda Boring and husband James Joseph, of Moyock, NC; and Cindy Kontak and husband James, of Bridgeport; eighteen grandchildren: Paul Trimble, Jr., Danica Trimble, Robert “Bobby” Trimble Jr., Crystal Snider, Jannetta Stout, Elizabeth Trimble, Raymond “Scott” Trimble, Kelly Trimble, Josh Trimble, Nicholas Moore, Jonathan Moore, Lacy Jo Braun, Lawson “Burt” Boring, Morgan Boring, Carder Boring, Kate Horton, Danielle Kontak, and David Kontak; thirteen great grandchildren: Anthony, Alexis, Henley, Quinnland, Marshal, Madison, Robert “Bobby” III, Klisty, Severn, Riley, Kaylie, Matthew, Quinten “JJ”; two brothers: Bedford “Bud” Wilfong, Jr. and wife Dorothy, Belington; John Wilfong and wife Ruth, Flemington, WV; four sisters: Nettie Fosselman and husband Don, Easley, SC; Shirley Frum and husband William, Rosemont; Mary Frances Henley and husband Bill, Decherd, TN; Janet M. Alexander and husband Tom, Big Fork, MT; four sisters-in-law: Nancy Wilfong, Bushnell, FL, Nancy Wilfong, Grandville, MI, Juanita Wilfong, and Geneva Wilfong, both of Rosemont, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by five brothers: Harold Wilfong, George Wilfong, Raymond Wilfong, Denver Wilfong, Charles H. Wilfong; and two sisters: Icy Greathouse and Velva Wilfong.
