Louise Mildred Simpson, age 86, passed away on September 20, 2015 at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, VA. She was born on July 27, 1929 in Culpeper, Virginia to the late Ralph Bolen and Florence Olive Herbert. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carroll O’Neal Simpson. Survivors include her daughter Linda Herod and son-in-law Sam Herod of Centreville, VA; her daughter Deborah Simpson of Manassas, VA; her son Bruce Simpson and daughter-in-law Paulena Simpson of Woodstock, VA; her grandson David Simpson of Culpeper, VA; her grandson Charlie Colgan and his wife Wendy Colgan of Nacogdoches, TX; and her great grandchildren Sarah, Fletcher, Paris, Tommy and Noah Colgan of Nacogdoches, TX. Additional survivors include a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
