Louise M. Owen of Duxbury, MA and recently of Canton, MA age 84 years, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton. She was the wife of the late Edward Owen, and the daughter of the late Thomas and Louise (Lyons) Powers and sister of the late Thomas Powers Jr. Born in Boston on June 3, 1935, she was educated in Boston schools graduating from Boston Girls Latin. She received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Boston College. Louise worked for many years as an IRS tax examining assistant.
