Louise L. (Loy) Gerrard, 93, of Greenwood, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016, in Greenwood. She was born October 27, 1922, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to her parents Harry A. and Esther M. (Keddel) Loy. Louise married Stuart Gerrard on September 5, 1941, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
She worked as a secretary for New York Life Insurance, and was a member of Grace Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being active, in her church.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Tom Gerrard of Indianapolis, and Jim (Judy) Gerrard of Houston, Texas, two sisters, Evelyn Weindorf of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Ruth (Fred) Bunten of Antioch, Illinois, eight grandchildren: John Wicklein, Mark Wicklein, Benjamin Gerrard, Jessica Reynolds, Michael Gerrard, Wendy Gerrard, Isabelle Gerrard, and Jack Gerrard, nine great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law, Ron Hudelson of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Gerrard, a daughter, Sue Hudelson, one son Gary Gerrard, and two brothers, Bill Loy and Albert Loy.
