Carol Louise Hanson was born in farm country western Montevideo, Minnesota. Early in her life, family moved to Niles, Michigan in the southwest part of state. She took piano lessons as a girl; piano was something she would do the rest of her life.
After high school she attended Rutgers University in New Jersey. Her original major was veterinary medicine. Her studies changed to major in education and computers, and she graduated there. She attended University for graduate studies as well as moving to New Jersey. After a year, she quit school to become grade school teacher. Due to bad kids and school she got over teaching in one year.
Next on Sperry Corp. working on smart house application. Her part was technical writing of a manual for every new model which came out about every 6 months. When she found out about offices around the world to possibly transfer to, she jumped at the chance to move to U.K. and settled in Birmingham area. She continued building manuals for Sperry, then launched her own business building manuals for them, which turned out to be more enjoyable.
After 13 years in England, she moved back to states to Ruidoso, New Mexico where continued her business building manuals for Sperry.
