Louise F. McClure, age 101, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. Born In Hollis, Oklahoma, on October 24, 1912, she was the daughter of Hugh and Faye Parsons Garrison. A longtime resident of Boerne she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. In addition to her love of music, she was a member of and provided music for Chapter 200 of the OES, provided the piano music for the Hummingbird Choir at the church, provided the music for the Women”s Society, longtime piano teacher, a substitute teacher, and longtime slot and bingo player. She started playing the piano as a child and played up until a month before she passed away. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. McClure in 1973, her son, Jerry in 1962, sister, Hura Garrison, and granddaughter, Donna Dudley, Louise is survived by son, Jay McClure and his wife, Ethelee; daughter, Belinda Andersen and her husband, John; grandchildren, Sandra Flippen and husband, Lonnie, Mindy Dodd and husband, Gordon, Rusty McClure and wife, Gigi, and Becky Alexander; 10 Great Grandchildren; Eleven Great Great Grandchildren.
