Louise Ann “Weezie” Thomas, age 91 of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born June 30, 1926 in Bellview, WV; the daughter of the late Anthony and Jenny (D’Amico) Yanero.
Weezie is survived by her four stepchildren, Jerry Thomas and wife, Sally; Tommy Thomas and wife, Susan all of Clarksburg; Sylvia “Kookie” Thomas of Bridgeport; Sharon King and husband, Gene of Mt. Clare; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; a great grandson and five great step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Weezie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nicholas Thomas who died on September 15, 2009; a daughter, Shirley McQibben; two sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Thoming and Nickolene Yanero; two brothers, John Yanero and Michael Yanero.
Weezie worked for Electrolux as the office manager. She also had worked for Montgomery Ward as a sales clerk and Foodland in the deli department. She loved cooking, entertaining and preparing food for her family and friends.
