Louis Kay Yaegle passed away quietly February 26, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.

He was born October 30,1938 in Heybern, Idaho to O. Glen Yaegle and Frances Darrough. Kay grew up in Pocatello, Idaho graduating from Pocatello High School in 1957. He served in the U. S. Army at Ft. Eustis, Virginia 1961-1963 at which time he returned to Pocatello and began working for Roche Moving and Storage. Traveling was in his blood and it was on one of his cross-country trips he met his future wife, Linda Morris, in Reno Nevada. They married February 20, 1965 and moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where he worked for Bus Operations at the INEL for 31 years in the capacity of Bus Driver, Safety Engineer, Driver Trainer, and Manager. He retired from the INEL in 1995.

Kay’s hobbies were varied and included carpentry, home improvement, boating, snowmobiling, travel, landscaping, camping and story-telling with his friends and acquaintances. He was a creative, hardworking, patient man who believed you persevere and finish whatever you start. He was a very supportive father to his sons and always there to lend a hand when someone needed help.

Kay is survived by his wife, Linda, of 53 years; his brother, Mark Yaegle (Carolyn) of Yuma, Arizona; his sister, Glennis Kowalski of Lincoln, Nebraska; his sons William Yaegle of Richland, Washington, Stephen Morris (Sonya) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Gregory Morris (Julie) of Las Vegas, Nevada; 11 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family is thankful for the excellent, considerate care of their loved one while at Life Care.
